Shootout at premiere
Denver: A masked gunman shot dead 14 people and wounded 30 to 40 others at a showing of the latest Batman movie,The Dark Knight Rises, at a shopping mall in Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Local radio station KOA reported that a figure in a gas mask had opened fire at the showing and set off a smoke or tear gas bomb. The gunman reportedly opened fire 30 minutes into the showing of The Dark Knight Rises. One suspect has been arrested.
