Three Motorcycle-Borne Attackers Had Opened Fire

Three men on motorcycles fired at Tiger Shroff's car in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday evening. The actor sustained minor injuries to his hand from gunpowder and glass shards, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said after meeting him. Police had earlier said he did not sustain any gunshot injuries. His driver, Firdous, was hit by a bullet. A fan, Yogesh Chavan (28), who was standing nearby to catch a glimpse of the actor, was also reportedly hit. Both are being treated in hospital.

The firing took place at around 7pm, as the actor was leaving the Pushpa Park area. The attackers fled.

A social media post in the names of Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, described as members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the attack. Police are examining the authenticity of the post.
