US-Iran Ceasefire: US President Donald Trump has stated that war could resume if Iran targets American troops. Speaking to journalists at the White House, Trump said, "They have neither a navy nor an air force; we have eliminated their leadership. Yet, you read in the fake news that they are doing very well in the war—it is unbelievable. They had 159 ships, and all of them are lying at the bottom of the sea. We have taken photos of them down there."

Criticism of the House of Representatives Meeting

On Thursday, the US President criticised the House of Representatives' "pointless voting" aimed at forcing him to end the war with Iran. He also slammed the four Republican lawmakers who supported what he termed an anti-national move.

Voting to Halt Military Operations Against Iran
The developments follow a vote in the US House of Representatives to block American military action against Iran. Democratic lawmakers received backing from four Republicans for the resolution, which passed with a 215 to 208 majority and will now move to the Senate.

Democrats Driven by 'Trump Derangement Syndrome': US President
Taking to Truth Social, Trump wrote that those voting against him would rather see the country fail than allow him to achieve another victory.
"On Wednesday, four bad Republicans and all Democrats in the House of Representatives voted to limit my war powers. This happened just as I was in final negotiations to end the war with the Islamic Republic of Iran," Trump stated.
The US President added that the Democrats are driven by 'Trump Derangement Syndrome', choosing to see the nation fail rather than granting him another win alongside his many other successes.
