US President Donald Trump has once again made a statement on the Russia-Ukraine war on his social media platform Truth Social. Questioning the intentions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Trump alleged that Zelenskyy does not want to end the war and probably never did. He cited the money Europe is giving Zelenskyy and the money former US President Joe Biden gave him in the past.

Trump also said he is negotiating peace between Russia and Ukraine, including the current hostage negotiations. He said he does not want to do anything that would foolishly drive Russia away from the bargaining table.

Trump: Foolish to Drive Russia Away From the Bargaining Table

Trump explained why he has not signed the document for now. He said great progress is being made, including in the current hostage negotiations. Signing that document at this time would drive Russia away, he said, adding that he can sign it later or at any time he wants.

Trump also said that Russia is doing very little, if anything, to help Iran's Islamic Republic compared with what it could be doing. He said he wants to keep it that way.

Trump Blames Zelenskyy's Strikes on Russian Refineries for Hurting Diesel Markets

Criticising Zelenskyy, Trump said he is using Russia's diesel refineries as targets. He said Zelenskyy knows these attacks are seriously hurting world diesel markets, including those in the United States. According to Trump, farmers, ranchers and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly as a result.

Trump said Russia is nevertheless sending millions of barrels of diesel to the world at a low price. He alleged that Zelenskyy does not care. He said that, with the money Europe is giving Zelenskyy and the money Biden gave him in the past, Zelenskyy does not want to end the war.

Trump Says He Wants This War to End

Trump said Zelenskyy could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. He said Ukraine is in shambles, a large portion of its land is lost, its oceans and seas are gone, and its male population is low, wounded or dead. Trump added that he wants the war to end.
