Two Youths Killed After Tipper Rams Motorcycle in Bastar

A horrific accident unfolded late on Monday evening on the Jagdalpur-Chitrakot main road in Bastar district. Near Chhapar Bhanpuri, within the jurisdiction of the Badanji police station, a speeding tipper truck rammed into a motorcycle from behind. According to eyewitnesses, the two young men on the bike were heading to their destination when the oncoming tipper struck them at high speed. The impact was so severe that both riders died on the spot. Police reached the scene soon after being alerted and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

Woman Dies After Being Struck Twice in Manendragarh

In Manendragarh, a woman was crossing College Road when an Omni car struck her, knocking her to the ground. Moments later, a vehicle belonging to the electricity department, travelling behind, ran over her. She was rushed to hospital with severe injuries but succumbed during treatment. The incident sparked anger among local residents, and police have launched an investigation.

Trailer Overturns in Dantewada, Traffic Disrupted for Hours

Late at night, around midnight, an uncontrolled trailer overturned near Masenar on the Satdhar-Nakulnar road in Dantewada district. Although no casualties were reported, the overturned trailer brought traffic to a complete standstill for nearly one and a half to two hours. The road was eventually cleared and reopened with the help of police and local administration.
