Delhi Cantt Railway Station: 13 trains will not stop here for 70 days (Patrika file photo)
Indian Railways has issued an important advisory for passengers travelling via Delhi Cantt railway station. Owing to redevelopment and platform upgrade works, the halts of 13 major trains at this station have been temporarily withdrawn for a period of 70 days.
According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, a traffic block has been taken to modernise platforms 2 and 3 at Delhi Cantt, which lies on the Delhi Sarai Rohilla–Rewari rail section. Several trains will not halt at the station while the work is under way.
Passengers planning to travel between Rajasthan, Gujarat and Delhi between August and October 2026 are advised to use the nearest alternative stations — such as Delhi Sarai Rohilla or Rewari — for boarding and de-boarding. Travellers are urged to check their train schedules and halt details before setting out on their journey.
