JEE Main 2025 Result: Seven Rajasthan Students Score Perfect 100

JEE Main Result 2025:The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results of the JEE Main Session-2, 2025, after midnight on Thursday. Along with this, the cutoff for JEE Advanced was also released. This result is a combined result (best of both) of the examinations held in both sessions of JEE Main.



24 students achieved a 100 percentile in the examination, including 7 students from Rajasthan. 10,61,840 candidates registered for the Session 2 examination, out of which 9,92,350 candidates appeared for the examination. This time, the cutoff for unreserved/general category was 93.1023262, while in 2024 it was 93.2362181.

JEE Main 2025 Topper: JEE Main 2025: Mother takes 3-year leave, son secures first rank

JEE Main Result 2025: Kota. Omprakash Behera, a coaching student from Kota, Rajasthan, has created history by securing All India Rank 1 in the country&#8217;s largest engineering entrance examination (JEE Main Session-2, 2025). Omprakash achieved a perfect score of 300 out of 300.



The JEE Main Session-2, 2025 results saw 24 students achieve a 100 percentile, including 7 from Rajasthan. These include Omprakash Behera, MD Anas, Ayush Singhal, Rajit Gupta, Saksham Jindal, Arnav Singh, and Lakshya Sharma.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Focus on the present, not the past: Omprakash</h2>



Omprakash Behera, who scored 300 out of 300 in the exam, said that the only mantra for success in the exam is to focus on what is happening, rather than dwelling on what has already happened. &#8220;I don&#8217;t have a smartphone because I believe it distracts. I study for 8-9 hours daily. I am currently preparing for the Advanced exam.&#8221;



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Omprakash&#8217;s mother in Kota for three years</h2>



Omprakash Behera hails from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His mother, Smita Rani Behera, is a college lecturer in Odisha teaching Education. However, to provide care during her son&#8217;s studies, she has been on leave for the past three years and resides in Kota with him.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Father took deputation in Delhi</h2>



His father, Kamal Kant Behera, is an officer in the Odisha Administrative Service. To help with his son&#8217;s studies, he also took a deputation in Delhi to be able to visit Kota and provide emotional support. The family is celebrating this achievement.

Delhi Building Collapse: A major incident occurred in the early hours of today in the Mustafabad area of Delhi. Four people have died after a four-storey building collapsed. It is reported that several people are still trapped under the rubble. NDRF and police teams have arrived at the scene and are carrying out rescue operations. The cause of the building collapse is yet to be ascertained.

Additional DCP Sandeep Lamba of the North East district stated that the incident occurred at 3 am. Eighteen people have been rescued, but four of them have died. The building was four storeys high. The rescue operation is ongoing. There are fears that 8-10 people are still trapped.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">14 Hospitalised</h2>



According to police, the deceased have been identified as Chandni, Danish, Reshma, and Naveed. Eighteen people have been rescued so far, with 14 admitted to hospital. There is still a possibility that some people remain trapped under the rubble. Following reports of the building collapse, dog squads, police, and NDRF teams arrived at the scene and commenced rescue and relief efforts.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">18 Rescued</h2>



Providing information about the incident, Divisional Fire Officer Rajendra Atwal stated that he received information about a building collapse at approximately 3 am. Upon arriving at the scene, he observed that the entire building had collapsed, with people trapped under the rubble. NDRF and Delhi Fire Service are engaged in rescue efforts. Eighteen people have been rescued so far.



Sudden weather changes were witnessed across several states, including Delhi, on Friday. Heavy rain and thunderstorms on Friday night resulted in reports of damage in several areas. In a separate incident last week, a person died when a wall of a building under construction collapsed near Madhu Vihar police station during a dust storm.

Delhi's Biggest Gift to Rajasthan: ₹67,000 crore for Flyovers and Roads

Rajasthan News: Rajasthan has received its biggest-ever infrastructure boost from the central government for the year 2025. According to a recent report by Bank of Baroda, Rajasthan has been allocated the largest share (₹0.67 lakh crore or 47%) of the ₹1.42 lakh crore road infrastructure budget announced by the central government. This amount will be used to construct 28 flyovers in the state. This investment will significantly improve Rajasthan&#8217;s road connectivity.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rajasthan Receives Highest Budget in the Country</h2>



A report citing news agency ANI states that Rajasthan is among the top recipient states, planning to construct at least 2,829 kilometres of roads this year. The state government has also decided to invest ₹87,438 crore in road development. This clearly indicates a strong focus on road infrastructure development from both the central and state governments.



According to the Bank of Baroda report, the central government has announced a total of ₹3.9 lakh crore for road infrastructure projects for 2024-25 (FY25). Of this, ₹1.42 lakh crore is a direct contribution from the central government, while the remainder will be borne by state governments and private investors.



The report also mentions that Assam has received ₹0.5 lakh crore for the construction of 1,647 km of roads. Meghalaya has been allocated ₹0.25 lakh crore for the construction of 136 km of roads. Gujarat also has large projects proposed, with a total cost of ₹97,892 crore, placing it at the top. Odisha has also announced projects worth ₹27,400 crore.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Second Largest Investment Since Fiscal Year 1996</h2>



The total of ₹38.3 lakh crore in new investment projects announced across the country for FY 2024-25 is a historic step. This is the second-largest annual investment since 1996. 69% of this investment is coming from the private sector (domestic and foreign), while 31% is being invested by the public sector.
