CG crime: Family at Maha Kumbh, thieves loot ₹10 lakh cash, ₹5 lakh jewellery

Burglary in CG: Unknown thieves broke into a house between the nights of 23rd and 24th February. The house was locked at the time. The thieves forced the lock, entered the house, and stole ₹10 lakh in cash and gold and silver jewellery worth ₹5 lakh. They then escaped.

CG Crime: A spate of burglaries has been reported in Raipur city and the surrounding district. A gang is targeting empty homes after conducting reconnaissance.

A case has come to light where, between the nights of 23rd and 24th February, a house in Keshar Nagar was burgled, with ₹10 lakh in cash and ₹5 lakh worth of jewellery stolen. The police have registered a case against unknown criminals and are investigating.

According to police information, Dinesh Agrawal, a resident of Keshar Nagar, filed a complaint stating that he and his family had gone to Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela and the house was locked.

Between the night of 23rd and 24th February, unknown thieves broke into the house and stole ₹10 lakh in cash and ₹5 lakh worth of gold and silver jewellery from a cupboard before fleeing. Incidents of theft are increasing in the city, and the police appear to be failing to prevent them.
