
Jobner Road Accident
A distressing road accident has been reported from the Jobner town area near Jaipur district. On Mahla Road in Jobner, an out-of-control SUV, attempting to overtake, rammed into a private school bus. The impact was so severe that both the bus and the SUV overturned on the road. Nineteen schoolchildren travelling in the bus were injured in the accident, causing panic in the area.
On hearing the loud crash, local residents and passers-by rushed to the spot to help. Villagers acted swiftly, pulling the screaming, terrified children out of the overturned bus. The local police administration and the 108 ambulance service were informed immediately.
With the help of ambulances and private vehicles that reached the site, all the injured students were rushed to the town's local Community Health Centre (CHC), where a team of doctors began first-aid treatment.
According to reports, following primary treatment at the community hospital, nine students, whose condition was found to be critical, were referred to a higher-level hospital in Jaipur for better treatment.
List of injured students: 19 students were injured in the accident. They have been identified as Vinay Kumawat, Zia, Payal, Archana, Tanishk, Roshan Kanwar (madam), Vishal, Simran, Seema, Tanu, Lakshita, Kalpana, Prince, Kaushal, Bhoomika, Archana, Meenakshi, Simran and Sumit.
Nine critically injured students referred to Jaipur: Vinay, Zia, Tanishk, Roshan, Vishal, Simran, Seema, Tanu and Lakshita were referred to Jaipur after primary treatment, given the severity of their condition.
On being informed of the accident, Jobner police station personnel reached the spot and restored the flow of traffic. The damaged bus and car were removed from the road with the help of a crane and taken to the police station. According to police officials, an investigation is underway and legal action will be taken against the driver for rash driving, as per rules. Meanwhile, the families of the injured children rushed to the hospital in a state of distress upon learning of the accident.
