The price of airplane fuel in Delhi has decreased by 4,495.50 rupees (4.59 percent) to 93,480.22 rupees per kiloliter. This is the first decrease in prices after two consecutive increases.
Airplane fuel prices have been reduced, while commercial gas cylinder prices have been increased. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest oil marketing company, airplane fuel prices have been reduced from Sunday. This is expected to bring relief to passengers in terms of airfare. The price of airplane fuel in Delhi has decreased by 4,495.50 rupees (4.59 percent) to 93,480.22 rupees per kiloliter. This is the first decrease in prices after two consecutive increases. The price was 97,975.72 rupees per kiloliter in August. In Mumbai, the price of airplane fuel has decreased by 4,217.56 rupees to 87,432.78 rupees per kiloliter. The new price in Kolkata is 96,298.44 rupees and in Chennai, it is 97,064.32 rupees per liter.
On the other hand, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased by 39 rupees from Sunday and is now priced at 1,691.50 rupees. Before this, the price had increased by 6.50 rupees on August 1. In Kolkata, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has increased by 38 rupees to 1,764.50 rupees. In Mumbai, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder has increased by 39 rupees, and in Chennai, it has increased by 38 rupees. The prices in these two cities are now 1,644 rupees and 1,855 rupees, respectively.
The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been stable since March 9 this year. The price was reduced by 100 rupees on March 9. Currently, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder is 803 rupees in Delhi, 829 rupees in Kolkata, 802.50 rupees in Mumbai, and 818.50 rupees in Chennai.
