Rajasthan: Indian Railways to Run Special Trains During Festive Season, Halting at These Stations

In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season and the expected increase in passenger traffic, the railway will operate a special train.

Bandikui: In anticipation of increased passenger traffic during the upcoming festivals, the railways are operating the Okha-Shakurbasti-Okha Superfast Weekly Special train. This train will run from 23 September to 25 November.

According to Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, train number 09523, the Okha-Shakurbasti weekly train, will depart from Okha every Tuesday at 10:00 AM from 23 September to 25 November (10 trips). It will arrive at Jaipur station at 4:05 PM, Gandhinagar Jaipur at 4:29 PM, Dausa at 5:03 PM, and Bandikui at 5:29 PM on Wednesday, departing thereafter to reach Shakurbasti at 10:35 PM.

Train to Also Halt at Dausa and Bandikui Stations

Similarly, train number 09524, the Shakurbasti-Okha weekly train, will depart from Shakurbasti every Wednesday at 1:15 PM from 24 September to 26 November (10 trips). It will arrive at Bandikui at 4:37 PM, Dausa at 4:55 PM, and Jaipur station at 6:20 PM on Thursday, departing at 6:30 PM to reach Okha at 1:50 PM.

Halts at These Stations

The train will halt at Dwarka, Khambhaliya, Jamnagar, Hapa, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Mehsana, Unjha, Sidhpur, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon, and Delhi Cantt stations en route. The train will comprise 1 AC First Class, 2 AC Third Class, 1 AC Third Class Economy, 6 Second Class Sleeper, and 4 General Class coaches.
